Welcome to Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church

We are a lively, loving congregation located in downtown Butler. For 200 years, the people of Saint Andrews have gathered to celebrate God's love through thoughtful worship, caring fellowship, and service to the larger community. We work hard at being an inclusive faith community where people from all walks of life feel comfortable worshiping and working together. We hope you'll take a few minutes to browse our website. Better yet, come visit and let us get to know you. Our worship service is at 10:30 am. May Christ's peace be with you.

Our Vision Statement

Through the gifts of the Holy Spirit our vision is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, by members joining together in leadership and learning, to develop Spiritual gifts and to extend these gifts into the community as true servants of God.

UPDATE ON CHURCH ACTIVITIES:

June 18, 2020

Dear Friends,

We have good news to share! On Tuesday, June 16, Session voted to restart in-person worship on Sunday, July 5, with the following changes.

Masks will be required for all people attending the 10:30 service. To accommodate individuals who can’t wear masks, we’ll be offering a second service at noon. This will be a shorter version of the 10:30 service. If you’re not comfortable with either option, we encourage you to continue worshiping with Saint Andrews via WBUT, Facebook and the website where services are archived.

At both services, worshipers will be asked to practice social distancing. Pews will be roped off, and we’ll be omitting the passing of the peace, the passing of friendship registers and the passing of offering plates. We’re also omitting congregational singing on the advice of public health officials.

You should receive a letter with more details next week. In the meantime, please keep our congregation in your prayers as we move to this next phase.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact one of us. We welcome your feedback!

Blessings,

Pastor Merry and John Ripper, Clerk of Session
