Presbyterians have a long tradition of reaching out into the world to help others as part of their faith based belief. We at St. Andrews are no exception. It is part of our mission as Presbyterians to do this.

Our mission work at St. Andrews reaches out around the world as well as into the community of Butler. We help support Forman Christian College in Lehore, Pakistan. We also currently are sponsoring a student at the Indo-American Home for Children by paying his tuition and other expenses.

Our local mission work includes participation in the Community Dinner program, and donations of food to the Food Bank at Covenant United Presbyterian Church. We also prepare brown-bag Sunday lunches and distribute them after Sunday worship to provide a meal over the weekend when the Community Dinner program does not operate.

Mission Trips

Each summer, the Youth and families of Saint Andrews participate in a Mission Trip to serve God's world and spread His word to those in need. Past trips have included travels to New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago, West Virginia and Virginia.
