Programs

Adult Education

Our adult Sunday school meets at 9:15 on Sunday mornings from September through May and is led by Pastor Merry, members of the congregation, or local community leaders. Consult the weekly bulletin for details. Come grow with us as we journey together in Christ!

The Music Program

Children/Youth

There are lots of musical opportunities for people of all ages at Saint Andrews!  We love watching our children and youth grow spiritually as they develop and share their musical talents through the Joy Ringers (a hand bell choir that practices on Wednesday evenings), vocal performances, and solo and small group instrumental performances.  Their musical contributions are a critical part of regular worship service, and they are especially important during our Christmas Eve and Easter celebrations!

Adults

High-schoolers and adults of any age are welcome in the Chancel Choir which leads the music in worship services each week. The choir sings a wide variety of music including standard hymn tunes, spirituals, contemporary and classical pieces, as well as anthems from other nationalities and languages. The Chancel Choir practices on Thursday evenings.

The Canticleer Ringers practice more advanced techniques in ringing hand bells and offer their heavenly sound once a month in worship. The Canticleer Ringers also practice on Thursday evenings.

Members, friends and families also offer solos, duets or small group vocal and instrumental music throughout the year.

Children/Youth Ministries

Our Youth Group meets Wednesday evenings from 5:15pm-7:15pm for dinner, music practice, fellowship, discussion, games, and fun!  Frequent service projects are an integral part of the youth ministry. The youth often participate in Worship, hold an annual Soup and Salad fundraiser to combat local hunger, shop for local needy families for Christmas, volunteer for the Community Dinner and Sunday Lunches programs, bake desserts for Meals on Wheels, and conduct an "alternative gift fair" at Christmas to support international efforts to eradicate hunger and disease.

Sunday School for children and youth meets at 9:15am for discussion of a variety of topics related to being a Christian in today's world.  Classes are led by members of the congregation.
