Adult Education

Our adult Sunday school meets at 9:15 on Sunday mornings from September through May. We also offer Bible studies and small group experiences during the week. Watch for upcoming events on this page. Come grow with us as we journey together in Christ.

The Music Program

There are lots of musical opportunities for people of all ages at St. Andrews.

Preschool-2nd Grade children

Part of the K.I.C.K. (Kids in Christ's Klub) program is a rich exposure to praising God through music. Our youngest children start with singing and movement to songs that teach lessons of the Bible. As the children grow, so does their experience to touch on music theory, playing rhythm instruments, chimes, and eventually handbells. The music offered by these little cherubs is often the highlight of our Christmas and Easter services. The K.I.C.K. program is held on Wednesday evenings.

3rd Grade through Middle School

With a stronger foundation of faith and music training, our middle-schoolers are prepared for more challenging experiences in the Joy Ringers. These youngsters may also choose to participate in drama productions and Devotional Dance programs that are presented during worship services throughout the year. These middle-school programs are held on Wednesday evenings.

High-schoolers and adults of any age are welcome in the Chancel Choir which leads the music in worship services each week. The choir sings a wide variety of music including standard hymn tunes, spirituals, contemporary and classical pieces, as well as anthems from other nationalities and languages. The Chancel Choir practices on Thursday evenings.

The Canticleer Ringers practice more advanced techniques and offer their heavenly sound once a month in worship. The Canticleer Ringers practice on Thursday evenings.

Members, friends and families also offer solos, duets or small group vocal and instrumental music throughout the year.

Youth Ministries

Our Youth group meets Sunday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 for fellowship, discussion, games, and fun. Frequent Service projects are an integral part of the Youth ministry. The Youth often participate in Worship, hold an annual Soup and Salad fundraiser, shop for needy families for Christmas, and lead the Easter Sonrise service at Moraine State Park on Easter morning.

More recently, the Youth have begun "Sunday Night Live" worship services one Sunday each month. These services include contemporary music, skits, videos, and are a casual, "come as you are" worship experience for the congregation.

Each summer, the Youth and families participate in a Mission trip to such locales as New Your City, Chicago, Philadelphia, rural West Virginia, and Virginia. The week-long trip helps spread God's word and work to those in need.

Youth Sunday School for grades 6-12 meets at 9:15 in the Youth room for discussion of a variety of topics related to being a Christian teenager in today's world.
